Design Guidance needs to support Colleges and Professionals in understanding the issues that affect the Quality of the place that is created to deliver teaching and enhance the learning experience.

The Design side of the web site looks at key issues of Design Quality and how, as a Client, a College can strive to achieve the best outcome for a project which is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Understanding how to be a ‘Good Client’ is fundamentally important to the success of a project.

The Design Guidance itself is divided into two parts:

Design Issues:  Issues that have an influence on design outcomes that Colleges need to be aware of, and

Design Elements: Guidance on particular parts of the College environment with specific needs that should be considered.
