Key Considerations
Consider ceramic floor tiles to heavily trafficked areas as they are more robust and easier to clean.
Toilet bowls, urinals, wash hand basins and fittings should have a colour contrast with their background for DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) purposes.
Make use of pre-plumbed systems where the programme is tight.
A mix of left hand and right hand access disabled toilets should be provided to allow for different users.
